Reps Slang & Batches Explained
The rep community has its own vocabulary. Here's a plain-English glossary of the terms you'll see on spreadsheets, in Discords, and on RepSheet — plus what “batch” actually means.
Core terms
- Rep — replica; an unofficial reproduction of a branded item.
- W2C — “where to cop,” i.e. someone asking for a link to buy an item.
- GL — “green light,” community consensus that a specific listing is accurate and worth buying.
- Finds — curated links to good reps. A “finds” site or spreadsheet is a collection of them.
- Spreadsheet — a shared list of rep links, the traditional way people browsed. RepSheet is a searchable version.
- Agent — the middleman service (Mulebuy, Kakobuy) that buys and ships for you.
- Haul — a batch of items bought together, often shared as photos afterward.
- Cop — to buy something.
Quality & QC terms
- QC — quality control; the photos of your exact item before shipping.
- 1:1 — a rep claimed to be a near-exact match to the original.
- Flaws — defects spotted in QC (crooked stitching, glue, wrong shade).
- Insole / stitch / hardware — common QC checkpoints for shoes, clothing and bags.
What is a “batch”?
A batch is a particular factory's version of a design. Because many factories copy the same popular item, you'll see several batches of, say, one sneaker — each with slightly different accuracy, materials and price. Higher-tier batches generally cost more and look closer to retail.
You'll see batch names used as shorthand for quality tiers:
- OG Batch — often the most accurate, highest-tier version of an item.
- PK / PK God — a well-known high-quality batch label for certain sneakers.
- LJR, GD, etc. — factory/maker codes used the same way for specific models.
- Budget batch — cheaper, less accurate; fine for trying a silhouette.
On RepSheet, when a listing specifies a batch we show it as a tag on the product so you can compare. The right batch for you depends on how much accuracy you want versus what you'll spend.
Putting it together
Now the lingo makes sense: you find a GL'd item on a finds page, check the batch, cop it through your agent, review the QC, and post your haul. Ready? Search RepSheet or read How to Buy Reps.
FAQ
What does W2C mean?
“Where to cop” — someone asking where to buy a specific item.
What is the best batch?
It depends on the item. Higher batches like OG or PK are more accurate but cost more; budget batches are fine for casual pieces. RepSheet tags the batch when a listing specifies one.
What does GL (green light) mean?
Community agreement that a particular listing is accurate and safe to buy.
What is a finds spreadsheet?
A shared list of curated rep links. RepSheet is a faster, searchable alternative to scrolling spreadsheets.
